Andrew is lead researcher on RBC’s thought leadership team, examining how Canada can enter the 2020s as a diverse, innovative and sustainable nation. He manages RBC’s future skills research project that is advancing thinking on skills-based job mobility, life-long learning and the potential of automation in our economy.
Andrew’s career has been split between roles in research and regulatory policy, examining how institutions and markets respond to change. Most extensively, he managed research projects at the Centre for International Governance Innovation, on topics covering the G20 and global finance, emerging economies and energy politics. Andrew also served as policy manager and advisor on international financial regulation at both the Ontario Securities Commission and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.
Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Studies and master’s degree in Finance from Queen’s University.
