Dale Huffman is the Vice-President for Health, Safety, Environment and Regulatory Relations at Orano Canada Inc.  Dale has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Queen’s University, a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Saskatchewan, and has worked in the fields of environmental assessment and management, decommissioning and reclamation, mineral exploration, workplace safety, and radiation protection.  Dale’s team at Orano has managed the transition phase of the decommissioned Cluff Lake uranium mine site, demonstrating that decommissioning has been successful in achieving a state that is safe, stable and has unrestricted access for traditional site uses.  The team is preparing Cluff Lake for transfer into the provincial institutional control program.
