Hilary Morgan became Director of International Affairs and Trade in the Lands and Minerals Sector of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) in September 2017. In this role, she is responsible for leading NRCan’s international relations and engagement activities related to Canada’s minerals and metals sector to ensure that it remains globally competitive. Hilary leads the development of policy and strategy to advance Canadian interests in the areas of trade and investment, sustainable resource management, and science and technology.  

She also leads the planning and delivery of the Government of Canada’s presence at major global mining events, including the Prospectors and Developer’s Association of Canada International Convention, Mining Indaba and China Mining.
