Virginia Wittrock is a Climate Research Specialist and Research Scientist, Environment Division, at the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC). She is an experienced expert in climate impact, adaptation and vulnerability assessments; urban, agriculture and forest climatology; hazards climatology (droughts, excessive moisture, extreme temperatures and their influence on water, agriculture, resources (mining, energy, forest), communities and health; risk assessment(s) of natural hazards and descriptive climatology. Virginia is a Board of Director member for the Saskatchewan Branch of the Canadian Water Resources Association and is past chair of the Saskatchewan Centre of the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society. Virginia is the author/co-author of more than 100 journal articles, book chapters and technical reports.
